The First SBS 18 Challenge

Their first challenge over at SBS 18 is to make a card for your Mum to tell her how much you love her and to send it to her so she recieves it by the 27th May (the anniversary of my mother's death). If you are not able to do so, please make and send a card to your nearest most loved other female relation, failing that your best friend, if that does not work the dog or cat! They must be female though!
Full instructions at SBS 18.

I took an aperture card and glued a little vial onto the inside added a few peel-offs and loving verse on the back then headed to the florist for a beautiful orchid as that's mum's favourite flower. She'll get it to day when I visit.

Newbie........

This is a card made by Natz (Samantha's pal) who was visiting the other evening. She had mentioned to Sam she'd like to try card making so I let her loose in my studio and this is the card she created for her gardening lover brother's birthday.
This is the first time Natz has made a card, she stamped and embossed the greeting and bear then coloured it, she chose the coloured card and papers and wanted an embly for the left corner, I showed her the real flowers and this was her choice and voila a fabby card! I just wish both girls lived close or came to visit me not their boyfriends!

This card is for my niece's birthday. The stamps and ribbon are part of my winnings from Crafts Beautiful last Sept.

This is for my son's girlfriend Samantha's 18th.

I made this for my sister Debz birthday.

Altered Art Challenge

At Last......

This is the award I was presented with by the lovely Marlou on 2/4/2008. Due to many things I have only just picked it up. I am sorry Marlou and hope you can forgive me.xx

This award originates from the Spanish blog Arte Y Pico and there are 5 rules attached, they are:

1) You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language.

2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.

3) Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.

4) Award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link "Arte Y Pico" blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.

5) To show these rules.

The 5 people I award this (rather late)to are:

Dawn - aka. Glitterpuss
Enfy
Silvercustard
Anna

Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Here is my take on Daring Cardmakers Friday's challenge.

It’s all in the Game

Tiddlywinks, playing cards, dominos, jig saw pieces…….the list goes on and I’m sure that most of us have a drawer somewhere that has the odd one or two of these lying around in.
Well now’s your chance to use them because I dare you to make a card using some of those pieces.
Oh and no, you don’t need to throw a double six to start playing.
